sams ep boots off with *chocolate*, a track that builds and builds using detuned synths, stabs and funky drums to make any dance floor erupt. on the flip *daegon* uses dubbed out drums to incorporate a synth melody line that will blow your socks off and rounds off this well shaped ep

part 2 of the ep kicks off with *domino* a track thats bassline drones underneath its own distinctive synth line to keep the drums rolling along steadily. the title track *black leather* is everything you would expect in a drumcode record, a subtle throbbing bass line which, keeps the track moving before the synth stabs enrapture the track and twist it into a dark, throbbing composition

sam paganini is not a real newcomer anymore. after all, he produces great tracks for more than ten years now and also became an acknowledged dj in italy during this time. however, his career received an enormous boost since 2011 with his releases on plus 8 and drumcode, and now reaches a new height with his cocoon recordings debut.
